On June 21st, music will fill Sainte-Marie-de-Ré!
Ready to celebrate the Fête de la Musique? From the market to the park, and including art studios, the festivities will take over every corner of the town, all day and into the night!
On the program for this festive and melodious day:
From 10:00 AM, come and browse the market at Place d’Antioche or Place des Tilleuls while enjoying the musical atmosphere.
From 12:30 PM, a bucolic break awaits with a Musical Picnic in Parc de Montamer. Bring your own lunch or enjoy a delicious meal while listening to great music and sampling the specialties from the food trucks!
From 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the Musical Stroll through the Art Studios welcomes musicians and amateur groups for intimate performances. Experience music in a direct and friendly way, up close to local artists in their workspaces.
From 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, enjoy a series of concerts in Place d’Antioche and Place des Tilleuls and dance under the stars.
At 7 pm, in Place d’Antioche, the Karyan Duo will be revisiting English and French folk, pop, and rock standards with their own personal touch. Good vibes and a cozy atmosphere guaranteed!
At 8 pm, in Place des Tilleuls, the band MECEKI will be performing the greatest hits of soul, funk, reggae, and rock… guaranteed to get you moving, singing, and dancing!
