Saturday 11 July 2026 - Autour de Django Two guitars, one shared spirit: “Autour de Django” brings to life the elegance and swing of gypsy jazz. “Autour de Django” brings together La Rochelle-based guitarists Boris Alexandre and Gilles Cunin, united by a shared passion for the world of Django Reinhardt and his successors. In an intimate two-guitar setting, they authentically interpret the gypsy jazz repertoire, alternating between solos and rhythmic accompaniment (“la pompe”). Inspired by the great masters of the genre whilst asserting their own musical sensibility, they offer an elegant and intimate swing, faithful to the spirit of Parisian gypsy jazz. This summer, the gardens of La Baronnie are hosting a series of open-air concerts in an elegant and friendly atmosphere. From 6pm to 9pm, enjoy a musical interlude in the heart of our gardens, amidst the gentle Reaulay evenings, cocktails from Bar 1721 and an intimate atmosphere. Make yourself comfortable in the garden and let the music carry you away for a timeless summer evening.
