Blue Day Event invites the public to a new edition of Lez'Arts de Ré, an event dedicated to craftspeople, socially conscious creators and the promotion of local craftsmanship. Set in an exceptional natural setting in La Couarde-sur-Mer, in the heart of Gaëlle’s pottery workshop and Mathieu the salt worker’s marshes, this creators’ market will bring together around thirty artists and craftspeople, carefully selected for the quality of their work and their creative vision. AN EVENT CENTRED ON CREATIVITY AND REUSE Lez’Arts de Ré celebrates creators who place craftsmanship, local creativity and the reuse of raw materials at the heart of their approach. Wood, glass, textiles, metal, paper, ceramics or recycled materials: visitors will be able to discover original creations where craftsmanship, imagination and environmental commitment come together. Above all, the event celebrates craftspeople, creative trades and responsible manufacturing practices that give materials a new lease of life whilst preserving the authenticity of handcrafted work. AN EXCEPTIONAL SETTING IN THE HEART OF NATURE For this unique day out, visitors will be welcomed to the unspoilt setting of Les Poteries de Gaëlle, run by Gaëlle, a local artist based on the island, and Mathieu, a passionate salt maker. Surrounded by lush greenery, craft workshops and the characteristic landscapes of the Île de Ré, the site offers an inspiring setting that fully enhances the experience on offer. Throughout the day, a catering area will allow visitors to make the most of the event in a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. A DAY OF ENCOUNTERS AND DISCOVERIES More than just a market, Lez’Arts de Ré is an invitation to meet the people who imagine, craft and bring unique objects to life. Visitors will be able to chat directly with the creators, discover their craft techniques, understand their creative processes and support a local economy based on expertise and artisanal creation.
