Loix, .... Nestled between the ocean, the marshes and the village, come and discover what is known as ‘the island within the island’… The harbour and its tidal mill, a reminder of the town’s salt-making past, The Pointe du Grouin and its little beach, As well as the labyrinth of its pretty, traditional streets, lined with white façades and green shutters. Come and explore it on foot with me. As a true enthusiast, I’ll tell you about the events that have shaped it – from the unusual to history, legends and anecdotes… By turns tormented, embellished, serene and authentic, it reveals itself through its paths… All these walks take place in the morning from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm on routes of 8 to 9 km… Tour in French An invitation to soak up the colours, scents and little surprises, So many places steeped in authenticity for you to savour… Each week, discover a village and its surroundings as you wander along the little paths off the beaten track… All accompanied by numerous anecdotes, legends, personal stories and key historical facts. In this little corner of the world, you’ll be able to hear it breathe, soak up the natural scents, admire its colours as they shift with the tides, and hear it tell its own story!!!
