Painting from life in the open air: this is the travel journal Christophe Dubesset is offering you on the Île de Ré this summer.

From Monday to Friday, each morning you’ll visit a different location to sketch, using pencil and watercolour, the seascapes, harbours, boats and typical views of the island. If you need advice on perspective, composition or colour gradients, or want to understand wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques, Christophe Dubesset will be on hand to guide you and help you feel confident in a small group of participants. From St Martin to Ars, via La Flotte or the port of Le Goisil, you’ll discover the tranquillity of painting these beautiful landscapes from life.
