„Die Nacht der Sterne“ in Saint-Clément-des-Baleines. Sonnenbeobachtung.

Serving as both a sky simulator and an immersive cinema, the planetarium offers visitors the chance to explore the universe and its phenomena, including the movements of planets, solar systems, asteroid and galaxy collisions, and many other astronomical events. Consisting of a hemispherical inflatable dome 6 metres in diameter and 2.50 metres high, it can accommodate 25 people per session. – 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm: solar observation and sale of ‘eclipse’ glasses for viewing the solar eclipse on 12 August. – Planetarium sessions at 4.00 pm, 5.00 pm and 8.30 pm – Limited number of places – registration on the day only. – 9.30 pm: Lecture ‘The Search for Life in the Universe’ by Dr Clémentine Antoine of the University of Geneva, a colleague of Michel Mayor, the first astrophysicist to discover an exoplanet in 1994 at the OHP (France). – 10.30 pm Sky observation through telescopes led by the teams from ‘Ré Astronomie’
