The oldest sea shanty choir on the Île de Ré is performing, as it does every year, at the Chapelle de la Redoute, in partnership with Portes en Fête.

Their repertoire is steeped in the songs of seafarers of yesteryear – the hoisting and turning songs that set the pace for the hard lives of seafarers.
