Description
Charlie and Madame La Lune tells the story of all the children who are – or have been – criticised, from the school playground right through to home, for building their own inner hideaway, their escape, their imaginary world.
Charlie, a dreamy child, is bullied by his classmates and told off by his teacher and his parents. The reason: he’s got his head in the clouds. After being told this so many times, he decides to go and check whether it really is there. And so begins Charlie’s epic journey to the moon, where he encounters a crow who’s a fan of Johnny Hallyday, Thomas Pesquet, a xenophobic cloud, commentators on a galactic race… Until he starts to wonder whether it might not be better to have his feet firmly on the ground?
