From 20 to 22 August, La Java des Baleines is putting queer culture on the map with the QUEER CODES festival!
The site opens at 6.00 pm every day, featuring exhibitions, a queer market, charity stalls, children’s story readings by ‘La Déliche’, a ‘Toys en terre’ workshop, Radio Queer Codes and other surprises. New for 2026: a ‘pink’ area reserved for adults!
20 August – 6.00 pm – midnight
8.00 pm – ‘Attention à la Drag’
The great Jessica Triss invites Loyal Câlin, Lolla Wesh, La Déliche and the audience to an improvised game show: absurd questions, daft challenges, and a ‘Talon d’Or’ prize to be won.
10.00 pm – The traditional dance-off Blind Test
with Mister Robinson and Loyal Câlin
21 August – 6.00 pm – midnight
8.00 pm – Drag Bingo
We’re bringing out the bingo balls for Drag Bingo, cheerfully hosted by Lolla Wesh and Loyal Câlin.
9.00 pm – ‘Queer Bloom’ show
We hand over the reins to the Sine Qua Non Art company, who will take you – along with artists from La Java and other surprises – on a journey through a spectacular dance show. An evening where bodies blossom, break free and discover themselves in a queerly poetic bloom…
10.30 pm – DJ set by Mister Robinson

8.30 pm – The Queer Codes Festival Grand Cabaret
On the programme: live music, drag, stand-up comedy, burlesque, poetry… and everything that will take you through all the colours of the rainbow.
