European Heritage Days will take place on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026.
The themes for this year’s event are: ‘Photographic Heritage’ and ‘Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine’.
A slideshow with commentary traces the 350-year history of this building, a former gunpowder magazine at the Redoute des Portes, which has since become the Notre-Dame-des-Marins Chapel.
