Description
Opening on 12 July at 6.00 pm, attended by the artists
Nathalie Soulet’s sculptures, modelled in clay with profound human sensitivity, meet the unique pictorial world of Fred Alione, a contemporary artist renowned for his ‘interior portraits’.
In his works, spaces become characters in their own right: living rooms, windows opening onto elsewhere, familiar objects and artistic references weave together silent narratives, bathed in vibrant light.
Drawing on influences from pop art, street art and contemporary painting, Fred Alione constructs worlds where the absence of human figures paradoxically makes their presence all the more palpable.
Set against these lived-in interiors, Nathalie Soulet’s sculptures bring their own sensual and emotional power. This encounter between volume and colour, material and light, invites the visitor on an artistic journey where reality blends with memory, emotion and the imagination. A summer exhibition celebrating the dialogue between two artists with unique and deeply vibrant worlds.
