Treat your children to an afternoon of nature discovery in the salt marshes of Loix. Guided by the team from the Salt Marsh Ecomuseum, young explorers take part in a treasure hunt, experiment with the properties of salt and clay, handle traditional salt worker’s tools and uncover the secrets of salt harvesting. This educational and hands-on activity offers a fascinating insight into the salt marshes of Île de Ré, their biodiversity and local know-how. A unique experience designed to raise children's awareness of natural heritage and traditional marshland professions.
