Huîtres Pouneau is an oyster farm based in La Flotte on the Île de Ré. We produce and farm our oysters with passion to offer you fresh, local produce straight from the producer.

From our oyster beds to your plate, we oversee every stage of production to guarantee freshness, traceability and that distinctive briny flavour. This direct link allows us to offer oysters straight from the producer, carefully harvested and sold without any middlemen. Throughout the year, you can find our oysters available for direct purchase, on platters at Sophie’s by the beach, or as part of our Christmas range, and discover the day-to-day work of a farm deeply rooted in its local area and committed to preserving the Île de Ré’s oyster-farming heritage. At Huîtres Pouneau, above all else, we share a passion: for the sea, for high-quality produce and for moments of conviviality over oysters farmed in La Flotte, on the Île de Ré.
