On the Île de Ré, a small carousel ride accidentally falls into the water: disaster! But it’s set free, and just like music, it improvises the notes and stops along a journey across seas and oceans. Sailing between poetic ripples, waves of ecological awareness, and beaches of vacation scenes, jazz standards are revisited and the compositions cast off to take the audience on a voyage from island to island, touching every continent.
