Two documentaries and a film to discover, or rediscover, for €4 per screening. - ‘Alice danse danse danse’ (2024) A documentary by Thibaut Ras. Alice, aged 38, who has Down’s syndrome and is a professional contemporary dancer, wants to change perceptions of difference. She is set to become a choreographer and direct 10 renowned choreographers. - “Dans la jungle terrible” (2019) Documentary by Caroline Capelle and Ombline Ley. Starring Ophélie Lefebvre, Léa Lenoir, Médéric Sergott At the IME La Pépinière, a dozen rebellious and spontaneous teenagers take part in a theatrical production, a space for musical, poetic, romantic and philosophical experimentation. - ‘Hors normes’ (2019) Film by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache. Starring Vincent Cassel, Reda Kateb, Hélène Vincent Bruno and Malik have spent the last 20 years in a world of their own, that of autistic children and teenagers. Through their respective organisations, they train young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods to support those described as “hyper-complex” cases.
