Description
As part of the awareness-raising campaign for the Local Food Project (PAT), the Community of Communes is joining forces with the Collectif Fermes urbaines association for this community-led project at the Jardins de Violette in La Flotte.
Join us on Saturday 18 April, from 9am to 2pm at Les Jardins de Violette in La Flotte. Led by Sophie Perrain, Margot Caron, Amandine Rault and their team, we’ll have the chance to explore this wonderful farm, which grows edible flowers and aromatic herbs whilst fostering biodiversity and community spirit.
A wide range of workshops await us, with something for all tastes and ages: building a drying rack, planting flowers and herbs, transplanting basil, cleaning the shed, building dry toilets, and more.
After the hard work, we invite you to explore the farm with its founders, and then, for those who wish, to share a meal in the open air. Everyone is asked to bring something to share (salad, fruit, quiche, drink or cheese…).
This work camp is open to families! We have planned workshops suitable for young children (planting, moving organic matter) and teenagers (DIY).
Sign up now via this link.
Details of the address and any equipment you may need will be sent to you three days before the work camp.
See you soon at the farm!
