The municipality of La Flotte will commemorate General de Gaulle’s historic appeal of 18 June 1940 on Thursday 18 June 2026 at the War Memorial.

This year’s ceremony at the War Memorial will take place in partnership with the Veterans’ Association, chaired by General Marc THÉRY, and in the presence of civil and military authorities, the Municipal Band, the Fire Brigade and local organisations, in accordance with the following schedule: 6.30 pm: ceremony at the War Memorial, 7.00 pm: reception following the ceremony (town hall gardens).
