In April and May, the municipal library and the Town Hall are organising events focusing on Haiti – current affairs, culture and literature – as part of ‘Mois des Mémoires’ (a month dedicated to the history of the slave trade, slavery and their abolition).

Discussions and exchanges on contemporary Haitian literature: readers discuss the novels of Yanick Lahens, Dany Laferrière, Lyonel Trouillot, René Depestre, Kettly Mars, Louis-Philippe Dalembert… And if you haven’t read any of their work, come and discover these authors.
