Description
Your birdwatching observations are invaluable – please share them!
Do you want to get involved in understanding and preserving local biodiversity? This workshop, dedicated to collecting naturalist data, is for you!
Using the free "ebird" app, which you will learn how to use, you will make observations to help preserve local biodiversity.
The workshop is divided into two complementary parts:
The first part, held indoors, will present the tool's features, the scientific and ecological issues related to observation data, and best practices for ensuring data quality (identification, location, and species behavior).
The second part will take place in the field: participants will put their knowledge into practice by observing birds and entering their observations directly into the app, with step-by-step guidance.
Free
Target audience: residents, students, and beginner or experienced naturalists interested in birdwatching. Meeting point: Le Préau (between Saint-Martin-de-Ré and La Flotte)
Remember to bring your binoculars if you have them and download the "eBird" app.
