Fête de la musique

Every year, the Fête de la Musique on the Ile de Ré transforms the villages into open-air stages.
In Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, La Flotte, Saint-Martin-de-Ré, Ars-en-Ré and Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré, amateur musicians and local artists take over the squares, harbours and streets, offering a varied and accessible programme.

The music will accompany the long evenings of June, in a friendly, family and intergenerational atmosphere, true to the spirit of the Retais.

Fête de la Saint-Jean

The Saint-Jean bonfires on the Ile de Ré are one of the highlights of the early season. Inherited from ancient traditions, this popular festival brings residents and visitors together around the fire, a symbol of light, renewal and social cohesion.

The Fires of St John attract families, groups of friends and out-of-season visitors alike, thanks to a gentle, accessible atmosphere that respects the environment.
