The gîte: Les Miniz petites Fillattes

Les Miniz Fillattes is a new addition to Les Fillattes. This is our 17th year in the tourism business, and we are launching this brand new concept with a cottage that can accommodate only 2 to 5 people, hence the name “Miniz Fillattes.” This cottage has everything a large cottage has: large, spacious rooms with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and an adjoining living room. The wooden staircase (designed and built by my grandfather) leads to the first floor. A hallway leads to two large bedrooms, a spacious bathroom (two sinks, a bathtub, and a shower), and a separate toilet. Bedroom 1, the “Wood” bedroom, has a king-size bed (180 cm), with the option of two 90 cm beds. Bedroom 2, the “Blue” bedroom, has a king-size bed (2 x 90 cm) plus a 90 cm bed. Outside: there is a south-west facing enclosed courtyard. It has a relaxation area with deckchairs and sun loungers and a garden furniture area with a gas plancha grill. Another bonus: an outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach. The rental is very well located in the village, 100 meters from the center, the market, shops, and a bike rental company, “Cycland.” Free public parking is available 30 meters from the rental. Bonus: the “Parking de La Salorge” bus station is 100 meters from the cottage. Leave the house by bike and take the bike path, just 2 minutes away, to reach the island's villages. You will also cross the superb “Lilleau des Niges” bird sanctuary on your way to Les Portes en Ré, and you will reach the wild sandy beach of “La Conche” on the Pertuis Breton side. So you can leave your car behind for the whole of your stay and get around on foot, by bike or even by the free electric shuttle bus provided by the Île de Ré community of communes.
