The idea of making surfing accessible to all, of sharing and exchanging, and of bringing together this community with the same vision, gave birth to the Surf Club La Couarde (SCLC) on the Ile de Ré. With the aim of federating this community, it will enable you to consolidate and develop your knowledge, and refine your understanding of conditions, spots and your environment. The SCLC will strive to maintain the ideal atmosphere for you to derive maximum pleasure from discovering and learning to surf. From catching your first wave to perfecting your technique, or even moving on to competition.
