La Mémoire des Forêts by Véronique Gerbaud-Lambert
Easter, a solo exhibition, April 3 to 12, 2026.
Forest memory
Galerie GLINEUR invites you to Véronique GERBAUD-LAMBERT's solo exhibition from April 3 to 12.
There are forests where one never enters by chance.
Forests that whisper even before you see them.
Forests where the light falls in golden showers, breaks on the foliage, lingers in the shadows and then disappears.
For her next solo show, Véronique GERBAUD -LAMBERT invites us to cross this invisible threshold.
Her landscapes are worlds in themselves: lush jungles, deep undergrowth, secret waterfalls, motionless sheets of water where the sky reflects like a dream. Light is sovereign, sculpting chiaroscuro, revealing a leaf, a trunk, a quiver in the air. Sometimes the sky darkens, the rain becomes exotic, the storm threatens, or the night opens onto a sky studded with stars.
And then, in this sovereign nature, life appears.
Birds take flight.
Felines emerge from the silence.
Glimpses pass through us.
A procession of animals emerges from these canvases - powerful, mysterious, attentive - as if the forest itself were watching us.
We think we hear water flowing, wings beating, foliage shivering.
It's a vibrant, sonorous, pulsating jungle.
An untouched, almost sacred world.
This exhibition is a journey.
An immersion.
An invitation to slow down, to look, to listen.
And perhaps to remember that nature, when painted in this way, is never quite a landscape - but a presence.
