For this 2025 edition, the Musée Ernest Cognacq presents an evening on the theme of poetry and music.
6pm SAUVAGE :
The two artists, Marie Lorioux & Pascal Ducourtioux, combine poetry and music to offer you a sensual and vibrant poetic stroll, during which some immortals appear: the Phoenix, the Ocean Women and a few others. Marie Lorioux, a singular, poetic voice on the world of today and tomorrow... Accompanied by soundscapes created by Pascal Ducourtioux on guitar, senza and talking drum.
11am Inauguration of the Le Peuple des Algues exhibition
Organized by Saint-Martinde-Ré town council, the "Le Peuple des Algues" exhibition will be presented in the museum courtyard. No reservation required.

The 21st European Museum Night, organized by the French Ministry of Culture, will take place on Saturday May 17, 2025. A not-to-be-missed event, it gives people of all ages and backgrounds the chance to visit more than 3,000 museums in France and Europe, free of charge and in a festive atmosphere.
