How do I sort my rubbish?

To help you sort your rubbish, here’s a reminder of what you need to do.

    • Household waste

This is non-recyclable waste left over after sorting packaging or depositing it at a waste collection centre.

Packaged in black bags, household waste should be placed in your green-lidded container or in the underground columns for household waste.

    • Recyclable packaging

Plastic packaging (bottles, flasks, tubes, bags and film), metal packaging (cans, aerosols, punnets) and cardboard, including small steel or aluminium packaging (capsules, pods, lids).

      • Empty but do not wash your packaging.
      • Crush your packaging, but don’t nest it together.
    • The glass

Your glass waste should be deposited in bulk in the underground glass bins.

Find your nearest voluntary collection point.

    • Paper

Loose paper should be deposited in underground columns.

Find your nearest voluntary drop-off point.

    • Organic waste

Your organic waste must be placed in your composter, which is distributed free of charge by the Communauté de communes.
