The International Guitar Festival, to mark the start of summer

July 2026 – 29ᵉ edition

Fans of this beautiful instrument or simply curious, this festival brings together guitar afficionados on the Ile de Ré for a few days.

From covers of the great classics to romantic serenades, world music and concerts by young talent, the International Guitar Festival offers a host of events across the island in early July.

Evening concerts and daytime events bring the island of Ré to life with the sound of strings, in the hushed confines of churches or in the open air on balmy summer evenings.


Jazz au Phare, 4 days of celebration in Saint-Clément des Baleines

From 27 to 30 July 2026 – 16ᵉ edition

Every year, the Jazz au Phare festival offers a varied programme mixing jazz, blues, soul and funk in an exceptional setting, for four unforgettable days. A host of artists perform on the large stage at the foot of the Baleines lighthouse.

The concerts take place in the evening, creating a magical atmosphere as night falls, with the illuminated lighthouse as a backdrop.


Musique en Ré, the classical music festival

From 27 July to 7 August 2026 – 39th edition

Between the end of July and the beginning of August, the Musique en Ré festival criss-crosses the island for a fortnight with free open-air concerts, symphony concerts in churches and concerts for young audiences.

Great musicians, soloists and conductors, will delight locals and visitors alike with the beauty and majesty of the works performed in a pleasant, relaxed setting, while enjoying the unique atmosphere of the Ile de Ré.


Festival Syrinx en Ré, classical music in the spotlight

August 2026 – 6ᵉ edition

Since 2021, this classical music festival has brought together young performers from the Conservatoires Nationaux Supérieurs de Musique in Paris and Lyon.

During a stopover on the Ile de Ré, these CNSMD graduate musicians will offer a series of three concerts, in the churches of Ars-en-Ré, Les Portes-en-Ré and La Couarde-sur-mer.

Grab your ticket and rediscover the symphonies of Mozart, Schubert, Ravel, Brahms and Beethoven.


Jazz en Ré Festival, evenings to swing!

August 2026 – 28ᵉ edition

With the port of Saint-Martin-de-Ré as a backdrop, the Jazz en Ré stage livens up the evenings of the Martinais (and not just!) for the duration of a weekend.

These concerts, free and open to all, bring the sounds of jazz, swing and blues to the capital of Ré.

A friendly atmosphere guaranteed for fans of the Fifties!

Another festival that has been a regular fixture on the Ile de Ré for years is the Festival Ré-Majeure. It takes place during the All Saints’ Day holidays. 4 days of concerts featuring classical, baroque and modern variety.

Every year, the festival concocts a quality programme with renowned artists, open to all audiences!


Les Saisons Musicales en Ré, all year round

One concert per season

Several times a year, the Saisons Musicales festival offers themed concerts of classical, baroque or contemporary music.

Organised by the AR4S association (Association Rétaise des Quatre Saisons), these concerts are the ideal meeting place for music lovers of all ages.

Organists, brass players, trumpeters and many others come together for an evening that has become one of the island’s most emblematic cultural events.
