Wild seaweed super food harvested in the pristine waters of the Ile de Ré.
Our mission is to democratise seaweed and share its superpowers with as many people as possible.

Aoré is an organic seaweed producer based on the island of Ré, offering innovative products such as tartars, shortbread and seaweed-based herbal teas.
Wild seaweed is harvested from the foreshore of the beaches on the Ile de Ré. These magnificent beaches are protected from pollution by marine currents such as the Gulf Stream and an environment that has always been protected from cultivation and urbanization.

Aoré's mission is to democratize seaweed and share its benefits. The company is committed to demonstrating that seaweed can be delicious and tasty, by sublimating it into original products.

Visits to the farm are not possible at the moment.

You can of course purchase our products by visiting our us Monday to Friday, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.

Sustainable tourism
Ecologically speaking, algae are the biggest carbon pump on earth. 70% of oxygen comes from the oceans, and without them, no life would be possible on earth (oceans cover 71% of the planet). They can grow several meters in a matter of days, without fertilizer, fresh water, pesticides or soil.

Our company is organic, EHS and uses mostly local resources. We work as much as possible with local suppliers and service providers, and use renewable energies (washing with borehole water, drying in greenhouses, etc.).
Our packaging is preferably recycled and recyclable or recyclable. Our jars and labels are produced in France.
