The island of Ré is renowned for its landscapes and villages, but also for its major sporting events, which attract large numbers of spectators and enthusiasts every year.

Antoine Albeau Series, a stage in the French Championships for windsurfing and windsurf foiling

The Peu Ragot beach in La Couarde-sur-Mer, the home town of Antoine Albeau (27 times world windsurfing champion), will be hosting the 4th edition of the Antoine Albeau Series.

Around a hundred participants will be taking part in this windsurf foil, winsurf and wing foil competition, whether they are experienced sportsmen or beginners, in a bid to make it onto the podium!

T24 Ile de Ré Triathlon: 24 hours of sport in the heart of nature

The natural assets of the Ile de Ré make it the ideal playground for triathlon enthusiasts!

Individuals or relays will meet up at Les Portes-en-Ré for a series of
running between beaches, wooded paths and flower-filled alleyways, cycling on some of the 138km of tracks on the island and swimming in the Atlantic Ocean.

Toyota Open International de l’île de Ré: a unique event for the disabled

Every year, this wheelchair tennis tournament attracts talented players from all over the world. It takes place on the tennis courts in the village of La Couarde-sur-Mer.

The Ile de Ré, the ideal place to play beach volleyball

Every year in June, the beach stadium near the Gollandières beach in Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré hosts beach volleyball tournaments.

Teams of players of all ages and abilities compete on this stretch of fine sand.
Whether you’re an experienced player or an amateur, the tournament is sure to be an unforgettable experience.

Ré Swin Run, the Ile de Ré’s sporting event combining swimming and running

Whether you’re an amateur or an experienced runner, there’s a race for everyone!

Departing from Loix, Saint-Martin or La Flotte, sign up for one of the courses, depending on the level of difficulty: 30, 18 or 7 kms!
Children aged 6 to 13 can also take part, with a specially adapted course.
The day ends with a festive evening and fireworks.

Not a keen runner? Don’t worry, come and cheer on the participants along the routes.
