“Geocaching” is a treasure hunt on foot of a few kilometers that uses your geopositioning by satellite (GPS). Your smartphone is all you need to search for the caches hidden along the way!
If you just want to use a hiking GPS or are worried about running out of battery, a paper version of the map is also available at the island’s reception offices.
The 6.5km “D, A Mystery Note” course
This route takes you through the village of Loix, one of 10 villages on the Ile de Ré. Once there, visualize your position, then embark on the adventure and let yourself be surprised! Find the clues, solve the different riddles to display the coordinates of the next steps, until you succeed in revealing the location of the cache, the treasure of the course! Plenty of fun for several, with family or friends!
If you are fond of the great outdoors and challenges, no doubt you will be fascinated by this unusual way of discovering the Retais territory, its inhabitants, its heritage, its anecdotes, … And if by chance you manage to locate the cache, you will have the joy of leaving with Zohée, available in only 2 of the 400 caches in the region! Enough to start or complete your collection of Poï’z, these small characters in the form of a badge to collect that reward small and large adventurers who have managed to overcome all the obstacles of the course.

This course takes you through the village of Bois-Plage-en-Ré.
Once there, visualize your position, then embark on the adventure and let yourself be surprised! Find the clues, solve the different riddles to display the coordinates of the following stages, until you manage to reveal the location of the cache, the treasure of the course! Plenty of fun for several, with family or friends!
